ALWAYS REMEMBER TO ALLOW PROPER VENTILATION SO THAT HIGH OUT-PUT t5 LIGHT FIXTURES WILL NOT OVERHEAT.

NEVER PLACE ANY T5 FIXTURE TOO CLOSE TO HEAT GENERATING APPLIANCE OR HIGH HEAT BULB(S).

Removeable screen bulb covering. Use to PROTECT BULBS, keep snakes and lizards out of fixture! And use it to REGULATE UV LEVELS.

You can use our OPTIONAL DIGITAL TIMER to create stepped DAWN and DUSK cycles!

This fixture can be used in 4 ways. You can easily:

  A. set fixture on cage.

  B. mount unit under a rack or shelf.

  C. suspend fixture at desired distance above animals / cage. 

  D. Hang Fixture over cage or pen with optional stands.

Two Cords. Two ON/ OFF switches mounted on fixture. One to one t5 bulb. One goes to the other 2 t5 bulbs. So you can have the option to create special DAWN & Dusk lighting for a more natural effect.

To have the ability to create Natural FERGUSON Zones & MORE Natural UV gradients in the cage like the animals would experience in their NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.

These UVB Readings are to be used as a guide only. Your UVB readings could vary. These readings were taken with Solarmeter 6.5 after a warmup period of 15 min. for 3 new Arcadia 14% bulbs. Customers are responsible for checking and adjusting their own UVB levels . Please check your UV Levels in your own set up regularly. UVB Levels can vary depending on the age of bulbs, operating temperature of the unit and line input voltage.

Overall UVB Levels can be lowered by:

Simply by exchanging out one or two of the Arcadia 14% Bulbs with Daylight Bulbs. 

UVB can be LOWERED in specific areas under the light by:

Using the optional Slide In "Shade-Maker™". These reduce UVB and light by 50 - 95%. Totally Adjustable.

UVB can also be BLOCKED in specific areas of the cage by:

Using the optional Slide In "UVB Blocking Glass Squares". This will create 0% UVB while allowing for 99.9% of visible light to pass.

Using the optional Slide In "Shade-Maker™" panels DOUBLED up. This will create almost shade and block UP TO 95% of light and UVB in a certain area.
