The Arcadia Reptile Deep Heat Projector utilizes efficient technology to emit natural and deep penetrating ‘Infra-Red-A’ and ‘Infra-Red-B’ rays that promote health and wellness in your animal.
Reptiles require heat to become energized and properly digest their food. The Deep Heat Projector mimics the rays your reptiles receive in the wild and will stimulate activity in your animal without disrupting night time cycles.
The Deep Heat Projector is complete with an internal reflector, meaning less heat is wasted and the device heats up faster. Recommended use with dimming thermostat to monitor temperature gradients. It is designed to penetrate muscle rather than give off as much heat at typical heat bulbs. Because of its wavelength IRA and some IRB penetrates subcutaneous tissue and the dermis in ways that normal light does not. Heat then moves through conduction to the rest of the material. It gets radiated out as IRC or loses its heat through convection.

Love the deep heat projector! So much better then a heat mat I would definitely recommend using it ! And light your reptiles is awesome shipping was fast and packaged very well I will get from here again !

I like the safety of the mesh cover over the Arcadia Deep Heat Projector. My dragon has been basking happily under the deep heat projector and seems to prefer it to other heat source. Have been checking temps with heat gun and it seems perfect for the enclosure.

So my Leo's just didn't seem to activate at all with the UTH they stayed out didn't explore until I seen a review by a YouTube lady I follow that recommended this heat emitter. It's like night and day, they eat better and are always exploring when awake.

I really like this product. Heats my boa's PVC cage perfectly. Paired with an Arcadia lamp cage, ceramic Arcadia fixture and herpstat thermostat.

Very pleased with the product! The only thing I would have done differently is get an E-27 size socket instead of using the American E-26 socket. Great product and would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to better their reptiles welfare! Todd, keep up the great work and I hope you continue carrying the deep heat projector in both wattages (50W-80W) in the future. Always a pleasure doing business with you! Thank you!

Helped my leopard gecko

I heard about this heat emitter from a YouTuber (her YouTube name is Leopard Gecko) and she super recommended this to use instead of a heat lamp. My leopard gecko is a bit lethargic (still recovering from MBD from his last owner) and I saw an increase in his alertness and activity after just the first few hours. His appetite is better and he's more active at night and overall this is working extremely well for him. I use a blue daylight bulb during the day to help encourage day/night cycles and I leave the emitter going all day and night with a thermostat and probe to regulate the heat. I highly recommend this to anyone with a leopard gecko as an alternative to a heat mat, especially if your current system isn't doing the job.

Worlds better than CHEs. My lizards are visibly more active and lively after basking under this thing. Arcadia if you're listening I know people who would love a 100w version for desert species!
