Arcadia 12% UVB offers a significant increase in both visible light and UV output compared with T8 lamps of similar length. The extra UV power that this 12% T5 lamp provides will help a keeper to generate a great UV gradient and provide safe basking quantities of UV over a much wider and deeper area. The Benefits of T5 Technology in this 12% lamp is a Smaller diameter lamp – 5/8 of an inch (16mm) compared to standard 1” (26mm). Flicker free – all T5 lamps operate on efficient, high frequency ballasts. High output T5 lamps are especially useful for captive reptiles.

The Arcadia bulb offers 12% UVB for the synthesis of vitamin D3, and 30% UVA . It Produces excellent natural colors with 200% more visible light than equivalent length D3+ T8 lamp. This 12% bulb also boast 80% more UVB than equivalent length T8 lamp.

This Arcadia reptile 12% UVB lamp is specially formulated to produce light in the UVB and UVA wavebands, as well as visible light and use a special glass formulation designed to allow through far more of the UVB and UVA. This means that we can offer lamps with spectral radiation patterns tailored to meet the requirements of specific reptile species.

Excellent Quality

I've used this particular light for six years for my Panther Chameleon together with a 22" HO T5 6.5K Daylight Bulb. I also purchased the light fixture from Light Your Reptiles. Always impressed with the quality, service levels, and dependability of the lights and fixtures. I like using the Arcadia brand lights for their superior quality. Easy to replace this light about every six months to ensure adequate D3 levels.

In 2014, my bearded dragon had gotten metabolic disorder from a poor UVB bulb. I was a first-time dragon owner. I was recommended the Arcadia D3+ lamp by a very knowledgeable beardie owner. With proper care and the Arcada lamp - she made a full recovery. I have been a fan ever since. My dragons thrive with these lamps (I purchase the T5-22in). However, it is not just the great products - but also the great service from Todd Goode, the Lightyourreptile.com owner. He has made a video to walk me through assembly instructions. I recently had a damaged product and he replaced it right away. Very easy to do business with and very supportive. There are no downsides to the products and service. Highly recommend!

Decided to switch to the Arcadia light after the vet recommended it. I was previously using the reptisun UVB, and there is a noticeable difference in my bearded dragon's mood now under the Arcadia bulb. Love that light your reptiles has so many different options to choose from and the shipping was very quick!
