These bulbs last a really long time. I keep testing my original bulbs, that are now over 3 years old, and the UV production is still great as per my Solar Meter.

Great quality bulb with a great UVB output! Even placed atop a screen tank lid I'm getting a great UVB gradient read (for a bearded dragon) that goes right to the bottom of my 24'' high tank. This makes it easy for a reptile to comfortably manage his exposure, while making sure he can get what he needs. I also strongly recommend a Solarmeter so that you know exactly what you are doing when managing UVBs, especially when dealing with powerful lamps and reptiles that require higher amounts than most others.

While you must have 15” from the light to the dragon (need a large enclosure) this light is top notch! Our dragon is out more and more active and even eating his greens. So happy to have found it! Great company too!!

Perfect lamp for rehabbing a beardie with MBD. You need to be careful and a UV meter is recommended to ensure the correct exposure. Have had the tube for the last 2-weeks and already showing improvement. Todd is great to deal with and he is quick to answer any and all questions you may have.
