LightYourReptiles.com was founded on one simple idea: To bring the best in full spectrum lighting products to the herpetological community. Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been keeping all kinds of reptiles and amphibians for over 48 years. From Tortoises to Monitors, Frogs to Pythons and everything in between. And the one thing I have concluded, time and time again, is that reptiles are truly "Children of the Sun". All life on Earth is solar powered. Nowhere is this more evident than in reptiles. I strongly believe to have the healthiest, happiest reptiles and amphibians, you need to provide them with the best quality of light available. This means only the finest in full spectrum lighting should be used for Maximum Daylight Simulation. Also, in the case of herps that need to synthesize vitamin D, quality UV lighting products that can be used safely and effectively.

Shipping Information: Orders are usually shipped within two to three business days.

Returns Policy:

We are happy to take returns and you may return new, unopened / unused items that are resaleable as brand new within 30 days for a refund.

There are no refunds on Special Ordered Items.

We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (ie: if you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

If you ordered the wrong item(s), changed your mind or other reasons, then you would be responsible to pay return shipping costs associated with the return or exchange.

IMPORTANT:
There is a 30% RESTOCKING FEE on returns.

The reason we have to do this is because we sell many different kinds of fragile and unique items that need special packing.

And we take care, time and expense to pack all these orders so they get to you in perfect shape. However, this results in a much higher than average cost in labor and packing materials to ship out these items.

Also, if you are returning items to us, like light bulbs and fragile light fixtures, we suggest that you may want to insure the return package. Because if what you are returning to us is poorly packed and arrives to us broken and can not be resold, then no credit or refund will be given. You would have to file an insurance claim with the carrier for the damage.

For Refunds...

You should expect to receive your refund within 3 - 7 days after we have received the return item.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

30 Day Refunds and Returns. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds are limited to 30 days from the date of purchase. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us at your earliest convenience by e-mail. We would like an opportunity to make it right for you. You may return any item for a refund of the original purchase price, LESS any shipping or handling charges.
